The Grand Union Flag was the first flag of the USA. It was created taking 13 stripes (for the thirteen colonies) and adding the British Flag ( Before Ireland became part of it) to the canton. This flag was originally used by the navy in 1775 but came to be used by the army as well.

    Great quality flag and quick shipping. Have been looking for this size and this was the only place I could find it. I all strips are sewn and so is the king colors in the canton
