The 101st Airborne Division earned its iconic nickname — the “Screaming Eagles” — through decades of unmatched courage and combat excellence. Activated in 1942, the division made history with its daring parachute assault into Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944, and its legendary stand at Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge. Described as “the tip of the spear” by former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and called the most tactically mobile division in the U.S. Army by former Army Chief of Staff General Edward C. Meyer, the 101st has served with distinction in Vietnam, the Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Today, the Screaming Eagles remain the Army’s premier air assault division — capable of executing rapid, large-scale operations anywhere in the world.

• Available from 12×18 inch (boating) up to a massive 20×30 feet
• Single-sided and double-sided options available in most sizes
• Note on the 20×30 ft size: At this scale, a double-sided flag carries significant weight and wind load — it is not recommended for standard flagpole use. However, it makes a spectacular banner display for stadiums, arenas, building facades, and large events
• Sizes 6×10 and larger include rope and thimble hardware
